I'm available for bookings as a solo performer, and also as a duo - Brock and Hare - with fellow poet and songwriter/musician Andy Brown. I/we can play pubs, restaurants, weddings, festivals, book launches, parties, ends-of-piers, whatever.
We can perform sets that feature mostly covers, mostly original material, or a combination of both. Having a vast songbook between us, we can perform tracks by a wide variety of artists in the folk, rock, and country blues styles, including (but certainly not limited to)
We have our own pa equipment and can adapt to most small and medium venues. Use the CONTACT page on this website to make a booking.

The videos (below) - all rough recorded on an iPad in my garage studio - give a flavour of my solo covers set. Firstly, here's a version of Chris Izaak's 'Wicked Game', for which I've pre-recorded myself playing a simple backing track on drums, bass, and rhythm guitar ...
Here's my version of Richard Thompson's 'Beeswing' in dropped-D tuning ...
And here's a simple guitar/vox version of Nick Drake's 'Cello Song', recorded in my study ...
Featuring a pre-recorded backing track of bass and piano, here's a really-slowed-down take on Buddy Holly's 'True Love Ways' ...
And John Martyn's 'Lay It All Down', played on a DADGAD-tuned dobro
Finally, here's my attempt at 'Georgia' by Phoebe Bridgers ...
